## ClickUp review: pricing, strengths, and where it stops.

The short answer ClickUp is a genuinely broad work platform at a low per-seat price: tasks, docs, whiteboards, dashboards, and automations from $7 per user per month billed yearly, with AI as a $9 add-on. Choose it to consolidate general work tools. Its limit: feedback enters as tasks with no revenue join, and outcomes stay invisible after Done.

Plans

- Free Forever: $0. 60 MB storage, unlimited tasks, unlimited free-plan members, 5 spaces, Kanban and calendar views, collaborative docs, 1 form.
- Unlimited: $7/user/mo billed yearly ($10 monthly). Unlimited storage, integrations, Gantt charts, custom fields, native time tracking, 200 lists per space.
- Business: $12/user/mo billed yearly ($19 monthly). Unlimited dashboards with advanced cards, 5K automations/month, Google SSO, unlimited proofing, custom exporting, 400 lists per space.
- Enterprise: custom quote. SAML SSO and SCIM, audit log, session management, Enterprise API, 250K automations/month, custom roles, HIPAA available, data residency, dedicated CSM.

### What ClickUp does well

Genuinely broad consolidation at a low seat price: tasks, docs, whiteboards, Gantt and timeline views, native time tracking, dashboards, and automations in one tool, with unusually deep view and custom-field customization, so a small team can replace several tools with one cheap seat.

### Where it breaks for revenue-driven product work

ClickUp is general work management, not revenue-driven product management. Feedback enters as tasks or forms with no join to account revenue: ranking by retention, expansion, or deal value means manual custom fields a human maintains. Customer context (who asked, which account, what MRR) does not travel with an item through delivery; a task is just a task. And there is no built-in loop verifying adoption or revenue after a feature ships: you close the task and the outcome is invisible unless wired up in a separate BI tool.

The decision

### ClickUp vs AIOProductOS, on the questions that decide it

| Question | ClickUp | AIOProductOS |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Pricing shape | Per seat from $7/user/mo; AI is +$9/user/mo; whole workspace upgrades together | Flat by tier from $199/mo; AI included, never metered |
| What feedback becomes | A task or form entry, context maintained by hand | A note joined to its account, plan, and MRR |
| Prioritization input | Priority flags and custom fields humans update | Request count and revenue at stake, computed |
| Post-ship outcome verdict | Task closed; impact invisible without external BI | Adoption, MRR adopted, retention on the record |

Choose ClickUp when

Choose ClickUp when a small team wants to consolidate general work (tasks, docs, time tracking, light PM) onto one cheap seat and product-specific rigor can wait. The customization depth is real.

Choose AIOProductOS when

Choose AIOProductOS when the work is product work: requests need the paying account attached, the backlog needs ranking by revenue at stake, and shipped features need a verdict. Flat pricing removes the per-seat-plus-AI-add-on math entirely.

FAQ

### ClickUp pricing and fit, answered

**How much does ClickUp cost?**

As of August 2026, ClickUp's Unlimited plan is $7 per user per month billed yearly ($10 monthly), Business is $12 yearly ($19 monthly), and Enterprise is quote-based. The AI add-on, ClickUp Brain, costs another $9 per user per month on any plan. A Free Forever tier covers unlimited tasks and members with 60 MB storage.

**Is ClickUp good for product management?**

It manages product tasks well: sprints, backlogs, docs, and dashboards are all present and highly customizable. What it lacks is product-specific structure: feedback has no native join to account revenue, prioritization runs on flags humans set, and nothing verifies what a shipped feature did. Teams needing those joins add another tool or build them manually.

**When is ClickUp the wrong choice?**

When feedback volume and revenue context start driving decisions. ClickUp treats a feature request as a task, so which accounts asked and what they pay lives in hand-maintained fields that drift. Teams whose roadmap answers to revenue at stake and post-ship outcomes need those computed from joined data, not typed in.

## Why AIOProductOS

- **One MCP over the whole product spine, not one tool.** 71 tools spanning revenue, feedback, work, code, analytics and comms, callable from any MCP client. Competing MCP servers expose a single product's own data; this one answers across the join, and it is listed on the official MCP registry.
- **Connected, not consolidated.** 100+ connectors land Stripe, GitHub, your feedback tool and the rest onto one shared record, so a product question is a join instead of a reconciliation. You keep the tools you already run.
- **Flat plans, not a per-head meter.** Member counts are allowances, not per-seat billing, and AI teammates are included rather than metered per credit. Compare the real number for your team with the [stack cost calculator](https://aioproductos.com/tools/saas-stack-cost-calculator).
- **Nothing is plan-gated.** Every tier ships every module. The only limits are seats and agents, so the cheapest plan is the whole product.
- **Your data stays yours.** EU or US residency chosen at signup, bring your own model key, full-org GDPR export on every tier, and we never train on your data.
- **Honest onboarding.** A 14-day runway on your own data, then a 30-day money-back guarantee. No stripped free tier and no countdown trial with a meter running.

- **Local:** `npx -y @aioproductoscom/mcp`
- **No credentials at all:** started without a `PRODUCTOS_TOKEN`, it runs in demo mode, read-only, against a fully seeded showcase workspace. Ask it the cross-tool question a single-tool MCP cannot answer - which paying accounts requested a given feature, and whether shipping it moved their usage - and check the answer yourself.
